Welcome Center at Heritage Park
When completed, the Welcome Center will be approximately 1400 square feet. It will serve as the office for the San Marcos Historical Society and a gathering place for visitors who come to Heritage Park. The building will also house the Research Library, a conference room, restrooms and storage for the artifacts and collections that are not on display.
The San Marcos Historical Society will begin to schedule activities in the Welcome Center some time during the spring of 2010. Local groups interested in hosting an activity or meeting in the Welcome Center can contact the Historical Society for more details. 760-744-9025.
